What is ResumeGenCV Resume Job Match?
ResumeGenCV Resume Job Match compares one resume PDF with one job description. It returns a ResumeGenCV match score, strengths, gaps, missing or buried job terms, weak evidence, and prioritized edits. It does not access an employer's private ATS or predict whether you will receive an interview.
What is included in the match report?
The report includes a match score, strengths already supported by the resume, gaps that are absent or unclear, missing or buried job terms, claims with weak proof, and priority edits for the application.
How is the resume match score calculated?
ResumeGenCV compares the text in the uploaded resume with the job description across advertised responsibilities, qualifications, skills, terminology, and supporting evidence. The score summarizes visible alignment between those two documents; it is not an industry-standard ATS score or an interview probability.
What is a good resume match score?
There is no universal good-score cutoff. Use the score to compare revisions of the same resume for the same role, then inspect the underlying gaps. A higher number is not useful if it comes from unsupported keywords or inaccurate claims.
Is this the score an employer's ATS will use?
No. ResumeGenCV compares only the resume and job description you provide. Its score is not pulled from an employer's private ATS, is not an employer cutoff, and cannot reveal hidden screening rules.
