No surprise finish line
Build before you pay
The product should not wait until the end of the resume flow to reveal the important limits. Free and paid expectations need to be visible before someone invests time.

ResumeGenCV helps job seekers build clearer resumes, compare them with real job descriptions, and prepare for the interview that comes next.
ResumeGenCV is owned and built by Ioan Tugui, a software engineer working with .NET applications, React frontends, and cloud infrastructure.
The product started from frustration with resume-builder paywalls. Too many tools let job seekers spend time creating a resume, then block the export or the useful checks at the end. ResumeGenCV is meant to be more direct: build first, understand what is free, and upgrade only when the heavier features are worth it.
At the same time, AI resume scoring, file processing, hosting, and email delivery are not free to operate. Paid plans help cover that infrastructure so the free tier can stay useful for people who only need a few resume scores, a first interview practice session, or a clean resume download path.

Software Engineer
The product is built around a simple idea: a job application tool should help before it asks for trust, money, or hours of work.
No surprise finish line
The product should not wait until the end of the resume flow to reveal the important limits. Free and paid expectations need to be visible before someone invests time.
One application context
A resume is stronger when the builder, ATS scan, job match, peer review, and interview practice all understand the same target role.
Useful free tier
Resume scoring, AI checks, file processing, and interview practice cost real infrastructure money. Paid plans exist so the free tier can remain useful instead of disappearing.
ResumeGenCV is built around the full application path, not just a document editor. The goal is to help you write a clearer resume, check it against real jobs, and prepare to explain your experience when an interview comes.
Create a structured resume from your experience, then adjust sections, wording, and layout without fighting formatting.
Open builderRun resume scores to spot weak sections, missing information, and changes worth making before you send the file.
Check resume scoreCompare your resume with a real job description so the skills, keywords, and proof gaps are easier to see.
Compare with a jobRewrite summaries and bullet points with clearer language while keeping the final resume grounded in your real work.
Improve resume textCreate a cover letter that supports the same role story as your resume instead of repeating every bullet.
Explore cover lettersShare a reviewable resume with mentors, friends, or coaches and collect comments before applying.
Share for reviewPractice questions based on your role, resume, and job context so your answers match the application you submitted.
Practice interviewsUse clean templates and export polished documents without turning the resume into a design project.
Browse templatesSend the exact thing that felt confusing. The product improves fastest when feedback points to a real resume flow, broken expectation, or unclear limit.
